Marine accidents and incidents can occur without warning. Understanding their causes is essential for implementing preventive measures and ensuring safety. Skilled investigators play a crucial role in analyzing the sequence of events leading to an accident or incident and identifying the necessary safety measures.
The Accident and Incident Investigation Course meets international training standards for Shipboard Safety Officers, as specified in the STCW Code Table A-II/2 and A-III/3, IMO Model 3.11, and the Code of Safe Working Practice (MCA).
Objectives:
